ThermoTube Type SL Preinsulated Tubing, 316 SS Seamless Tube Material, 1/2″ Tube O.D., 0.049″ Tube Wall Thickness, ATP Jacket ThermoTube is a single insulated tube ideally suited to transport hot or cold liquids or gases. It was specifically developed for steam supply and condensate return lines, and is also used as an un-heated sample line. ThermoTube is pre-insulated with non-hygroscopic glass fiber, complete with a heat reflective foil wrap and a weather-resistant outer jacket. ThermoTube can be manufactured with a variety of tube materials, wall thicknesses and outer jackets. ThermoTube is supplied in long length coils and can be quickly and easily installed in existing cable trays, angles, channels, struts and I-beams. ThermoTube, along with its associated termination seal kits, provide a lower installed cost compared to field installed and insulated tubing.
